What this site is

A free, ad-light, browser-based virtual Indian harmonium with companion tools — drone, tanpura, taal metronome, Sa-finder, Sargam ↔ Western converter, transposer, and a Web-MIDI tester. The whole experience runs in your browser; no signup, no installation, no data collection beyond anonymous traffic analytics.

Who this is for

Singers learning Hindustani classical, students of bhajan and kirtan, music teachers running online lessons, meditation practitioners, and anyone curious about Indian music. The interface is in five languages and the theory pages explain Sargam, ragas, taals and ornaments without assuming prior knowledge.

How it’s built

Open web technologies — Astro, Vue, Tone.js, Web Audio API, Web MIDI API. Audio samples are CC-BY recordings from the Philharmonia Orchestra’s open library, shaped through a convolution reverb made from a CC0 impulse response.
