How to use it
- Find a quiet room. Headphones are recommended to avoid the speakers feeding back into the mic.

What is Sa in Indian classical music?
Sa (षड्ज) is the tonic — the reference pitch all other swaras (notes) are measured against. Unlike Western music, Sa is not fixed to a frequency; each singer chooses a Sa that matches their voice.
How do I pick a comfortable Sa?
Sing a relaxed “aaa” at a pitch that feels neither tense nor sleepy. Most adult male voices land near C3–E3 (130–165 Hz); most adult female voices land near G3–B3 (196–247 Hz). Use the microphone tool above to confirm.
Why does the harmonium need to be tuned to my Sa?
